Project supervision is the organized professional application of operations to lead team-work to deliver jobs on time, within budget and to scope. Projects are any kind of set of activities that create a distinctive product or program and give an advantage after finalization.
Projects will be complex in nature – they have particular start and end dates, and they involve various people and tasks. PRINCE2 defines three themes that guide how projects will be managed: Organization justification ~ Answers the question, why? Company – Determines roles and responsibilities and answers the who? Task management processes – Answers the just how.
Gantt chart are a popular project supervision technique that uses a schedule to map out all the duties needed to result in a task, every time they should begin and finish, who is in charge of each task and potential slack time for each. It’s a good way to visualise how your team are required to finish the work and is used alongside any other approach to project organizing.
